Researchers have proven that consuming alcohol moderately raises levels of high-density lipoprotein, HDL, or ‘good’ cholesterol and higher HDL levels. And all these are helpful for your heart as they will protect you from several heart diseases.

Ohh… you read this right. Boozing moderately increases your life span. It reduces the death risk by 18%.


 3)Lowers the risk of DEMENTIA:

A small amount of alcohol makes brain cells fitter. It stresses cells and thus toughens them up to cope with major stresses down the road that would cause dementia.



Consuming alcohol per day (two units) reduces the risk of gallstones by one-third. Yes, that is totally true as researchers of the University of East Anglia said.
